What age group is a Croatia sail for?
The essential ingredients for an unforgettable Croatia cruise: nice boat, great food, fascinating destinations, cold drinks, friendly crew and like-minded shipmates. Of course, we can exert a great deal of control with providing the quality of service, meals and facilities you would expect. However, we cannot control 2 of the most essential aspects of the trip: the weather, and how well you gel with your shipmates. But we can certainly help! (with the shipmates side of things, not the weather!)
With our cruises, the only requirement for a good time is being between the ages of 10-69. Having said this, experience shows that birds of a feather flock together and that definitely applies for people preferring to socialise with others in their age range.
This is why we have a trifecta of age groups to ensure you’re sailing with your kindred spirits: the lively 20-35s, the classy 30-49s, and the eclectic Mixed-age (10-69) group.
The big news for 2024 is that we have launched a sail exclusively for those fantastic folks aged 30-49. Why, you ask? Well, because we heard our savvy 30-40s wanted the cruise vibes without feeling like they stumbled into a party for people in their 20s. Not that we don’t love our party-loving 20-35s – we just wanted to make sure everyone feels at home.
Whether you’re navigating the high seas for the first time or you’re a seasoned sailor, our sails have your age and vibe covered. Here’s what you can expect from each age range:
This cruise promises an energetic and lively atmosphere, thanks to the dynamic individuals who typically book on this category of tour. Whether you prefer daytime exploration with occasional nights of festivities, or your main objective is to unwind and enjoy a vibrant party scene, our cruise warmly welcomes everyone on board! We have refined our age range from 20-39 to 20-35, as we’ve introduced a dedicated boat for those in their 30s and 40s. The 20-35 age group now features a younger crowd, but with total focus on twenties and early thirties. Regardless of your preferred trip itinerary, we invite everyone to join us, ensuring that your experience will be nothing short of amazing!

These boats are your more wooden style vessels with a lot of charm and character. Our boats come in a range of sizes from 25 – 28 Metres and they have all been renovated to accommodate our passengers comfortably. Our Classic Plus boats are the most traditional boats we have and lend themselves best to lively people in their 20s due to the intimate style of the boats and how quickly people seem to become a family on board. They have ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning.

Our Premier boats not only look good but are very popular since they have all the modern facilities you could want in a boat (metal hulls, decent-sized cabins, air-con, good shower-rooms/WC, diving platforms and large sundecks), whilst still being intimate enough to have a great atmosphere on board. They are one step up from the Classic Plus and offer diving platforms, ensuite cabins with a shower curtain or cubicle. They tend to be popular with people in mid-to-late twenties to mid-thirties on the 20-35s cruises.

Our Superior boats are a cut above the other Premier and Classic boats. They are larger in size which means there is space for larger sundecks, a jacuzzi, wide diving platforms and big rear seating areas. The facilities are high standard too, with spacious cabins and hotel-style ensuite shower-rooms. Of course, air-con, wi-fi and unlimited drinking water are also features. Maximum capacity, depending on the boat is usually around 36-38 passengers. They are best suited to travellers with a slightly higher budget in mid-to-late twenties to mid-thirties bracket on the 20-35s cruises.

Introducing a more balanced experience for our cruise enthusiasts aged 30-49, this age range offers an alternative to the livelier atmosphere of our 20-35s voyages. With more emphasis on relaxation during the day and social options in the evenings, the 30-49s cruises are tailored for those seeking a tranquil holiday without the intense party scene of the younger age bracket. While the option to enjoy drinks at the bars or venture into clubbing is still available, these cruises invite passengers to have more of a balance!
We believe that the beauty of these cruises lies in the diversity of fun, allowing each guest to have their unique experience. From tranquil swims to adventurous exploration, picturesque sightseeing to partying in the evenings/nights, the 30-49s cruises cater to lots of preferences. This year, in 2024, we’re excited to introduce this new age range, anticipating a lot of interest among our guests in 30s and 40s, who tend to be neglected as a special age-group.

Our boat Ocean which is a real beauty is dedicated to our 30-49s passengers. A true Premier Plus boat which was constructed in 2009, she has a metal hull and super-structure, spacious cabins, air-con, hotel-style shower-rooms, a diving platform, and a large sundeck. A fantastic Jacuzzi is also present on the sundeck. She also boasts many cabins: 19 in total (11 above-deck, 8 below-deck). This boat runs for our 30-49s guests every week with 8-day and 4-day routes departing on Tuesdays and our 5-day routes departing on Fridays.

Mixed Age (10-69)
Our Mixed Age sails cater to a diverse range of individuals, spanning from 10 to 69 years old. This attracts families, couples, and friends, and multi-generational groups, particularly those with passengers aged 50 and above, who may find the younger-focused 20-35s or 30-49s sails less suitable. These sails are ideal for families with older children (10 or older), solos and couples seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, steering clear of the party-centric vibe.
During our Mixed-age cruises, we occasionally modify parts of the route to avoid bustling party destinations. This ensures you have ample time to explore the captivating destinations and indulge in delightful dinners, creating a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for all.
