Finding Your Go Croatia Sail Boat in Trogir

Welcome to Trogir! Planning your check-in is key to a seamless start, and knowing your boat’s location in advance makes all the difference. This guide confirms your Go Croatia Sail docking location and provides simple directions to find your ship along the historic waterfront.

Your boat will dock at the Trogir Municipal Pier (Riva waterfront).

  • The pier is located on the mainland side of Trogir, close to the UNESCO protected Old Town.
  • Please look out for our distinctive branding as we can’t give you a specific berth number in advance.
  • Accessing your ship often requires crossing the decks of other boats.

Docking Location: Trogir Municipal Pier (Riva Waterfront)

Trogir Municipal Pier pier sits in the main harbour area on the mainland side of Trogir (not on ÄŒiovo Island). It’s conveniently accessible as it’s just a short walk from the UNESCO protected Old Town and near the small bridge connecting the town to ÄŒiovo Island. Even better, the Trogir bus station is only a few minutes’ stroll away.

Note: The Trogir Port Authority arranges all docking positions each week. This means we can’t provide a specific berth number in advance. To avoid any confusion, please check your pre-departure map for the general area of possible docking spots along the Municipal Pier. This is all part of the unique experience of a small ship cruise.

Finding your boat in Trogir is easy once you know what to look for:

  • Look for the Ship’s Name: Your ship will have its name clearly marked (e.g., Otac Duje, Le Cordea).
  • Spot Our Branding: Look for the distinctive red Go Croatia Sail banner displayed on one of the mast lines and a large sign on the side railings.
  • Accessing Your Boat: Most mini-cruisers dock side-by-side. Your ship may be two, three, or more boats away from the pier. To board, simply walk onto the first boat and cross each deck until you reach yours. This procedure is standard for getting around the Trogir port!

Important: Avoid booking accommodation near Marina Baotić (Seget Donji). It’s not part of the Go Croatia Sail docking program and lies about 2 km west of town. Staying there makes check-in less convenient.

Trogir offers a good mix of boutique hotels, guesthouses, and affordable apartments. Many are within easy reach of the harbour. Check Hostelworld to find the right accommodation for you.
