5-DAY DUBROVNIK TO SPLIT
We might be biased, but taking in the stunning Dalmatian Coast on board a 5-day cruise might just be the best way to see Croatia. Meet us in Dubrovnik for a night in the ancient city before we sail on to the beach haven of Korčula, the vibrant promenade of Makarska and the charm of Split (Trogir). With sparkling waters to swim in along the way, historic towns to explore and new friends to experience it all with, these are 5 days you won’t forget.

Itinerary
Dubrovnik
Official check-in is from 5pm onwards but you can arrive to the boat earlier, after 11am, leave your bags onboard and choose from the many activities happening in Dubrovnik that day.
There are so many things to do in this city. We recommend:
- Taking a cable car ride up to Mount Srd for the most incredible view imaginable.
- Dubrovnik is also the setting for the capital city of Westeros, Kings Landing, in Game of Thrones. If you are a fan, why not take a walking tour of the locations of the most famous scenes in the ultra-popular show and get an overview of the history of Dubrovnik at the same time?
- Take a shuttle boat over to Lokrum Island from the Old City.
Dinner is included this evening and is served around 6.30pm. The evening is free afterwards to have a few drinks onboard, head back into Dubrovnik, or go to a few places around Gruz port (we recommend the amazing Dubrovnik Beer Company bar near the boat).
Check in: The official check-in time is at 5.00pm but as the boat will have already overnighted in Dubrovnik, you can leave your luggage on board from 11.00am onwards.
In Dubrovnik, there are two possible docking locations, depending on port authority orders. Here are the two possible locations (they are not far from each other):

Dubrovnik to Korčula
It’s goodbye to Dubrovnik and hello to more incredible scenery as we head to Korčula Island, which is said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. The Old City (with the same name as the island) is another gem, with impressive Venetian architecture. Korčula hosts a small street party in the evening at the Deja Vu Bar, and the night can continue at the Boogie Jungle, outside the city.
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Optional activities: Old Town Wine-Tasting, Lumbarda Wine Tour, Korčula Buggy Safari
Overnight: Korčula
Korčula to Makarska
After a steady morning cruising, we dock into Makarska this afternoon where you can explore the town and grab a gelato or wander through St Peter’s forest park. If you’re up for some adventure, then join a River Cetina Optional Activity where you can race down the current rapid rafting style.
Tonight, take your pick for dinner at one of the many restaurants, pizzerias and tavernas that line the promenade. For the party people, Makarska is also home to the famous Club Deep, aka the ‘Rave in a Cave’, so why not get a group together and check it out?
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Optional activity: River Cetina Rapid Rafting
Overnight: Makarska
Makarska to Split (Trogir)
It’s our final cruise day!
Today we depart for the region of Split where we will dock in Trogir – a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an epic medieval Old Town and buzzing nighlife dotted along the Riva. Head out for one last dinner with your shipmates then admire the town’s gothic artchitecture as you wander between the local bars.
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Overnight: Split (Trogir)
Captain’s Note:
In 2026, all departures will finish at Trogir Port, which is in the region of Split. This is due to an ongoing infrastructure project at Split port and will impact the majority of boats that usually dock in Split.
Split (Trogir)
After breakfast it’s time to say goodbye to your shipmates and crew.
If it’s your first time in Trogir, we recommend staying an extra night to explore or catch a bus to the neighbouring city of Split. You can also choose to join an Optional Activity to see the stunning waterfalls of Krka National Park.
Meals: breakfast
Optional activity: Krka National Park Waterfalls and Primošten
Check out: 9am, click to view location
Captain’s note:
On to your next adventure? Split airport is less than 15 mins from Trogir port, so you don’t have to go far.

4-day Split to Dubrovnik
START (check in): 11am
FINISH (check out): 10am
Where do I find my boat?
Instructions on how to find your boat are in your pre-departure documents. We email these to you 3-4 weeks prior to departure.
Where should I stay before or after my Go Croatia Sail cruise?
Split (Trogir)
Anywhere around the Old Town of Trogir is perfect for pre or post accommodation – it’s close to the bus station and the port where your boat is docked.
Dubrovnik
Either stay around the Old Town for a charming Dubrovnik experience or stay near Gruz Port where your boat will be docked. Gruz Port is approximately 15 to 20 minutes by bus from the Old Town.
How do I get from the airport to my boat?
Split (Trogir)
If you are arriving into Split Airport (SPU), which is located less than 6 km from Trogir, the most direct way to get from the airport to the Municipal Pier is by taxi or pre-booked private transfer (such as Uber).
The journey is very short, usually about 7-10 minutes, with a typical taxi fare around €15–€20.
Alternatively, you can take the local bus line 37, which runs between the airport and the Trogir Bus Station.
The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes and costs about €2.50. The Trogir Bus Station is located a very short walk from the Municipal Pier (less than 5 minutes).
Dubrovnik
Take a shuttle bus from Dubrovnik Airport to the Port of Gruz main bus station. You can find more information on bus timetables here.
To find where your boat will be docked, check out our blog post here.
How do I get to Split or Dubrovnik?
Air. Rail. Bus. Ferry.
Your options are limitless (not really, but you know what we mean). Check your options here.
What happens if I miss, or am going to be late for the boat's departure?
It all depends on just how late you are! If you miss check-in, it shouldn’t be too hard to catch up. But if you’re a day late you’ll need to discuss options with our Operations team.
4-day Split (Trogir) to Dubrovnik and 8-day Split (Trogir) Return departures
If you miss the check-in, you have to catch up with us by taking a ferry from Split to Hvar (at your own expense).
5-day Dubrovnik to Split (Trogir) departures
The first night of this cruise is docked in Dubrovnik’s Gruz Port, so if you’re running late – don’t worry! The boat will still be there that evening.
Top tip: aim to arrive in Croatia at least one day before your sail to avoid missing check-in.
