Itinerary
Split (Trogir) to Hvar
Jump on board and meet your Captain, crew and shipmates!
Today we depart from Trogir Port around 1 pm and get the socialising started with lunch and a much-needed swim stop. Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an epic medieval Old Town and buzzing nightlife dotted along the Riva, AND it’s less than 15 mins from Split airport. We recommend arriving a night or two before your cruise to explore, and catch a short bus ride to the neighbouring city of Split.
In the late afternoon, we dock in Hvar, where the evening is yours to explore. Hvar Town’s pocket harbour is a thing of beauty – to truly appreciate it, we recommend climbing up to the fort that overlooks the whole bay.
Check in: 11am – 12pm
In Trogir, there are two possible docking locations, depending on port authority orders. Here are the two possible locations (they are not far from each other):
Meals: lunch
Overnight: Hvar
Captain’s notes:
Split (Trogir): In 2026, all departures will start from Trogir Port, which is in the region of Split. This is due to an ongoing infrastructure project at Split Port and will impact the majority of boats that usually dock in Split.
Hvar: Docking positions are weather dependent and at the discretion of the port authorities. Hvar Town’s small port is also often overcrowded during peak travel times. If we’re unable to dock at Hvar Town, we’ll sail on over to Stari Grad or Jelsa and keep the party going.
Hvar to Mljet
Our boat leaves early for the crossing to Mljet Island. After lunch, we will dock in either Pomena or Polace and have the rest of the afternoon free to explore this island’s stunning National Park and its lakes (€30 entrance fee).
There are several options for this exploration: hire a bike for a few hours and pedal your way around the lakes’ excellent cycle paths, hire a kayak for paddle-power or simply go for a hike. We also offer an optional onboard Captain’s mixed grill dinner this evening (either in Mljet or we might head over to Slano or Sipan island) as the setting is perfect.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, optional Captain’s Dinner (mixed grill dinner, approx 25 Euros, depending on inclusions)
Optional activity: Mljet Self-Guided Bike Tour
Overnight: Mljet
Captain’s note:
Docking positions are weather dependent and at the discretion of the port authorities. If we’re unable to dock at Mljet, we’ll sail on over to Slano or Šipan and keep the party going.
Mljet to Dubrovnik
With some gorgeous bays around Mljet, Slano and Šipan, we are spoilt for choice for a swim stop this morning. We then cross to Dubrovnik through the Elaphite archipelago of islands – a truly amazing sight.
We arrive in Dubrovnik in the early afternoon, which gives you time for some must-dos, including a sunset walk around the famous walls and sampling a cocktail at one of the cliff bars as you watch the sun go down.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in and around the Old City, as well as events at clubs such as Revelin.
Meals: breakfast, lunch
Optional activities: Dubrovnik Zipline, GoT Walking Tour, Historical Walking Tour
Overnight: Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik
Check-out from your cabin is after breakfast, by 10am, but you can leave your bags on the boat as there is still plenty to see and do! We recommend:
- Taking a cable car ride up to Mount Srd for the most incredible view imaginable.
- Dubrovnik is also the setting for the capital city of Westeros, Kings Landing, in Game of Thrones. If you are a fan, why not take a walking tour of the locations of the most famous scenes in the ultra-popular show and get an overview of the history of Dubrovnik at the same time?
- Take a shuttle boat over to Lokrum Island from the Old City.
Wish your shipmates a fond farewell, enjoy Dubrovnik and reflect on an incredible few days!

FAQs
What time does my sail start/finish?
4-day Split to Dubrovnik
START (check in): 11 am
FINISH (check out): 10 am
Where do I find my boat?
Instructions on how to find your boat are in your pre-departure guide. We email this to you 3-4 weeks prior to departure.
Where should I stay before or after my Go Croatia Sail cruise?
Split (Trogir)
Anywhere around the Old Town of Trogir is perfect for pre or post-accommodation – it’s close to the bus station and the port where your boat is docked.
Dubrovnik
Either stay around the Old Town for a charming Dubrovnik experience or stay near Gruž Port where your boat will be docked. Gruž Port is approximately 15 to 20 minutes by bus from the Old Town.
How do I get from the airport to my boat?
Split (Trogir)
If you are arriving at Split Airport (SPU), which is located less than 6 km from Trogir, the most direct way to get from the airport to the Municipal Pier is by taxi or pre-booked private transfer (such as Uber). The journey is very short, usually about 7-10 minutes, with a typical taxi fare around €15–€20.
Alternatively, you can take the local bus line 37, which runs between the airport and the Trogir Bus Station.
The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes and costs about €2.50. The Trogir Bus Station is located a very short walk from the Municipal Pier (less than 5 minutes).
To find where your boat will be docked, check out our blog post here.
How do I get to Split?
Air. Rail. Bus. Ferry.
Your options are limitless (not really, but you know what we mean). Check your options here.
What happens if I miss, or am going to be late for the boat's departure?
It all depends on just how late you are! If you miss check-in, it shouldn’t be too hard to catch up. But if you’re a day late, you’ll need to discuss options with our Operations team.
4-day Split (Trogir) to Dubrovnik departures
If you miss the check-in, you have to catch up with us by taking a ferry from Split to Hvar (at your own expense).
Top tip: aim to arrive in Croatia at least one day before your sail to avoid missing check-in.
