What’s the difference between 18-35s, 30-49s, Over 40s and Mixed-age (10-69) cruises?
Well… it’s all in the name! Our 18-35s age range is for those aged between 18 and 35, while our 30-49s age range is for those between 30 and 49. You get the gist, right?
We organise our departures by age range so our passengers can travel with like-minded people and have the best possible experience.
It’s the same boats and the same scenic routes—just different people and a different vibe. In our experience, guests prefer traveling with peers in a similar stage of life, and these age ranges help ensure that happens. We do provide some overlap between the groups so you can choose the specific age range that feels right for you.
What are the ages and nationalities of people on board?
Our passengers come from all over the globe, which means you could be saying cheers with anyone from Australia to Brazil.
The ages of those on board depend on which age range cruise you choose. Our age ranges are:
- 18-35s
- 30-49s
- Over 40s
- Mixed-age (10-69)
We strongly recommend travelling on a departure within your age range to ensure everyone on board has a great time!
What happens if my bedding preference is unavailable?
When you book your cruise online, we ask you to submit your bedding preference. Our reservations team then checks your request and manually allocates you to a cabin.
Sometimes we’re unable to place you into a cabin with your preferred bedding because of availability. If this happens, we’ll place you into the next best thing and email you to chat about your options.
Top tip: book early to have the best chance of securing your preferred bedding preference
Do I have to share my bathroom with other passengers?
You will only share a bathroom with people in your cabin.
This means, if you’re a solo traveller who has booked a shared cabin then you will share a bathroom with the other person in your cabin.
Will my cabin have air-conditioning?
Absolutely! All cabins include a private air-con unit with controls.
If you experience any issues with your air-con on board, make sure to let your Onboard Representative know so that they can find a solution.
